The UK Pro Surf Tour, formed in 1998 by UK Surf Promotions Ltd to:
- Raise the profile of British Surfing across the UK
- Provide a uniform event format that is visually exciting
- for media and spectators
- Highlight the quality of surf conditions and locations across the country
- Provide a platform for surfers and sponsors to raise their profile in the surfing industry
- Increase media coverage for surfing
- Financially reward surfers for their performance
- Raise the performance level of British Surfers
