The North East can provide some of the best quality waves in the country. The swell unfortunately only last for a short period of time.
This event is run inconjunction with Xtreme Festival incorporating Skateboarding, Snowboarding, Kite Surfing, Windsurfing and live music. It is supported by North Tyneside Council who bring all the extreme sports together.
From 2002 to 2004 the event was held at Cayton Bay.
