The third year the event will take place in Portrush. The only time the tour visits Ireland. Supported by Coleraine Council who encourage youth participation in sport. The event, with three star status, is the richest on the tour, if a surfer fails to succeed at this contest it will have a major effect his final ratings.

East Strand Wave Information
East Strand is sheltered from westerly winds, it works on all tides and can get really good on its day with powerful barrels. Holds up to eight feet.
Best tide time to surf: Works through all tides, but if it is small will be better toward high tide Driving Access: Through Portrush town Car Park spaces: 250 Price: TBC Beach facilities: Toilets, café & Surf Centre Beach type: Sand Break type: Beach Left/Right: Both Offshore wind direction: Southerly Access: Good from Carpark Water quality: Good - EU award for high water quality Lifeguard service: In Summer from 1st July until 3rd September
